Job Description:
Our customer is hiring an Intake & Demand BA/ Project Manager to effectively manage the initiation phase of Healthcare IT projects within the organization. This person will work with business partners and stakeholders on the intake phase and be responsible for determining budget, resource allocation (ie: demand), process, prioritization, requirements gathering, etc. This team is the Intake phase of the Project Management lifecycle, and eventually hands things off to the PMO/ execution side of the fence, making sure they set them up for success. This team is growing and it’s a great opportunity to join and make an immediate impact!

• 5-7 years’ experience as an Intake and Demand Business Analyst/ Project Manager, coordinating and aligning project initiatives to the organization’s goals and prioritizing projects based on strategic importance and business impact.
• 2-3 years’ experience owning the Intake and Demand Management process in a Healthcare setting.
• Experience owning contract analysis, resource planning, demand forecasting, coordinating stakeholder engagement, technical requirements, cost analysis, risk management, and timeline for delivery.
• Experience with software request for proposal (RFP) and vendor selection processes.
• Technical aptitude, technical requirements management, and the ability to assess and articulate risk variables in a healthcare technology setting.
• Strong understanding of cost evaluation associated to hardware and software related projects and an understanding of the differences between SaaS, PaaS, Iaas, and on-premise solutions.
• Healthcare IT background and an understanding of healthcare governance and how the application or business need intersects with other stakeholders and impacts various end-users within a healthcare setting.

Nice to have:

• Collaborate with business leaders to articulate and document the requests’ value proposition and contract stipulations.
• Own the Intake and Demand Management lifecycle of project management (ie: everything before it hits the Execution side of the PMO. This includes contract analysis, resource planning, demand forecasting, coordination of technical requirements, cost evaluation for the implementation or configuration, stakeholder engagement, and coordinating the general timeline for delivery).
• Partner with vendor teams to gather vendor requirements (ie: hosting needs, integration, configurations, etc.) and evaluate costs related to the implementation, plus ongoing subscriptions and/or services.
• Analyze customer needs and market trends to help determine the number of resources needed to complete the project and help align those resources appropriately.
• Partner with the application portfolio management team to review current applications as alternatives and/or review upgrade opportunities.
