Job Description:
This person will join the Product Management team supporting one of our top client’s Building Management IoT solution. The Product Marketing Strategist will play a key role in driving new product partnerships, providing critical market research, and supporting the overall Go-To-Market strategic vision. Huge opportunity here to stand as the “Voice of the Customer” for a massive cutting-edge product making waves in the smart/sustainable buildings industry across Global commercial businesses.

Requirements:
• 7+ years of experience as a product marketing manager/strategist, including the last 5+ years in B2B SaaS products
• Extensive experience owning go-to-market product strategy as well as providing competitive market analysis
• Ability to sell product vision and present strategy behind new integrations & capabilities for products (standing as the “voice of customer” / VoC)
• Experience working in an Enterprise sized environment + agile methodologies
• Excellent communication skills to communicate across product development team, business leaders, and stakeholders

Nice to have:
• Building Automation/Controls/or BMS experience
• Commercial industry experience
• Extensive IoT product knowledge

• Competitive Landscape: Identify competitive and alternative offerings in the market and assess their strengths and weaknesses. Develop a strategy to succeed against the competition.
• Market Definition: Segment markets into groups that share common problems. Prioritize and analyze these segments to identify the most attractive targets for your offerings.
• Pricing: Collect and analyze the information needed to determine pricing models, schedules, and strategies in collaboration with product development team.
• Sales Alignment: Use your market knowledge to help sales align their selling process to the way the market wants to buy.
