Job Description:
Jupiter Medical Center is strategically expanding its critical technology infrastructure to support the opening of its new, state-of-the-art patient tower. The need an IT Field Technician to be a core part of this transformation, ensuring operational excellence for their top-rated, not-for-profit health system. You will manage the technology lifecycle, including decommissioning and reclaiming legacy IT assets, and deploying new systems during office and facility buildouts, all while working to maintain world-class patient care.
Requirements:
• 2+ years’ experience as an IT Field Technician – installing, troubleshooting, and repairing desktops, laptops, printers, and networking equipment
• Extensive experience in setting up, configuring, and supporting Windows 10/11 systems – including user profiles, updates, drivers, and security settings
• History of providing full-cycle IT support for at least one new facility opening, office expansion, or department relocation – including accurately documenting, disconnecting, and reinstalling all endpoint devices (PCs, printers, monitors, and specialized medical peripherals) across locations
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical individuals
• Possess a valid, non-expired state-issued Driver’s License
Nice to have:
• Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent
• Healthcare industry experience
Responsibilities:
• Execute the full technology lifecycle migration for facility transitions, including accurate documentation, disconnection, and reinstallation of all IT and specialized medical peripheral equipment.
• Provide advanced field support, installation, and repair for a wide range of hardware, including desktops, laptops, printers, and core networking equipment.
• Utilize experience with Windows 10/11 systems to configure, diagnose, and troubleshoot complex issues related to user profiles, operating system updates, drivers, and security policy enforcement.
• Manage the technology asset lifecycle by performing the decommissioning and reclaiming of legacy IT assets and deploying new systems to maintain service standards.
• Travel reliably between the main campus and various off-site buildout/project locations.
