Implementation PM (SAP)

Job Description:
We are looking for a Senior Project Manager with a deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA implementations and upgrades to lead a critical initiative: upgrading their global SAP environment from SAP Rise (2020 version) to SAP Cloud, Private Edition (2025 version). In this role, you’ll oversee complex, multi-country workstreams across functional and technical domains, managing cross-functional teams, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring seamless execution from planning through post-go-live stabilization. The SAP upgrade project is scheduled to officially commence in February and will primarily focus on financial modules within FICO. Requirements:
• 10+ years as a Project Manager managing across the full project lifecycle – Project planning, project execution, resource management, stakeholder communication, risk and issue management, team coordination, and documentation
• Expertise in supporting global, enterprise-level SAP projects with a scope that includes multiple country rollouts and a user base exceeding 5,000 active users
• Successful completion of at least one SAP S/4HANA upgrade project that specifically involved migrating a prior version to the 2023 Private Edition or a later release
• Documented history of leading the upgrade, configuration, or implementation of SAP FICO (Financial Accounting and Controlling) modules on an S/4HANA platform
• Professional experience as a consultant at Accenture, Capgemini, Deloitte, PwC, EY, or KPMG

Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage the master project schedule and integrated plan for the global SAP S/4HANA upgrade (SAP Rise 2020 to Cloud PE 2025), ensuring all workstreams commence successfully on time.
• Directly oversee and synchronize complex, multi-country workstreams, coordinating activities between technical teams (system migration) and functional teams (FICO configuration) to maintain parallel progress.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for project information, proactively managing expectations and providing structured status reporting to executive and cross-functional leadership across all participating countries.
• Conduct daily reviews of the Risk and Issue log, defining and driving timely resolution plans and implementing corrective actions to protect the project scope, budget, and Go-Live date.
• Guide the execution of tasks specifically related to the migration, configuration, and testing of financial modules (FICO), ensuring all requirements for the new SAP Cloud Private Edition (2025) are met.
• Manage resource capacity planning, allocate day-to-day tasks to internal staff and external consulting partners, and track individual performance against defined milestones.
