Solutions Architect (Pre-Sales)


Job Description:
One of our biggest Telecommunications Partner in the United States is building out a brand new Solution Engineering team to help support the sales efforts of some of the most complex and customized solutions they offer to its largest clients. They’re looking to bring on several Solution Architects that will be the key individuals to help build and scale this team while still supporting sales efforts, influencing purchasing decisions at the most senior levels of Fortune 100 organizations, and act as trusted technical advisors to clients and internal stakeholders.

• Active CCIE certification
• Willingness to travel 30% of the time (must be within 45 minutes of an airport)
• 10+ years of experience doing network engineering, network administration or network sales engineering
• 10+ years of technical experience within cable or telecommunications voice, video and data solutions
• Understanding of Layer 2 topologies, managed routers, managed security, SD-WAN, cloud services and optical transport technologies
• Background working in or supporting Enterprise size companies

Nice to have:
• Any of the following certs: CCNP, CCNA Wireless, CCNP Wireless, CWNE #211, CCDA, CCDP, CWNA, CWDP, CWAP, CWSP, CMNA, NSE4, NSE7, NSE8, CISSP, CCIE

• Provide technical experience and be the Subject Matter Expert to help move deals forward
• Present well-documented solutions to overcome objections from high level decision makers and influencers
• Accelerate sales by assisting in proposing Spectrum Enterprise Ethernet, Internet, Wave, VoIP, PRI, SIP, Collaboration, Unified Communications (UC), Video standard and non-standard solutions
• Work with various Spectrum Enterprise Network Engineering, Operations and Product teams to develop unique service offerings as needed
• Mitigate risks by ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures
