SAP Data Analyst

Job Description:
This is a high-impact SAP Data Contractor role supporting a centralized Data COE initiative focused on enterprise-wide analytics and transformation efforts. You’ll be working hands-on with SAP data across multiple legacy business units, helping standardize and deliver clean, reliable datasets into Snowflake and the XETA platform. This team is dealing with a high volume of financial and operational data, and they need someone who can not only pull the data, but actually understand what it means—someone who can analyze it, validate it, and ensure it aligns with real business and financial outcomes.

Requirements:
• 5+ years pulling and analyzing SAP data, with hands-on experience navigating tables, joins, and aliases
• Strong SAP finance data knowledge (POs, sales orders, document types) with the ability to understand dollar impact and business context
• Proven ability to analyze data and identify correct sources for reporting (backlog, cash flow, revenue) — not just extract it
• Experience validating SAP data against financial statements to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with data pipelines into Snowflake or a comparable data warehouse environment – Snowflake is highly preferred

Nice to have:
• Previous Aviation industry experience as a Data Analyst

Responsibilities:
• Execute SAP data extractions across multiple business units, supporting enterprise analytics initiatives tied to Snowflake and XETA
• Analyze and interpret SAP data (POs, sales orders, financial transactions) to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with business context
• Work directly with internal stakeholders to identify data sources for reporting needs (backlog, cash flow, revenue, etc.)
• Understand SAP tables, relationships, and aliases to efficiently locate and extract relevant datasets
• Perform data validation and “gut checks” against financial statements to ensure reporting accuracy
• Support ongoing data standardization efforts to reduce technical debt and improve reporting consistency
