Project Manager (AI/Innovation Lead)

Job Description:
This team leads the delivery of large-scale, high-impact power generation projects within the Gas/Power business, where they build critical power plant equipment – including gas turbines, steam turbines, generators, and balance-of-plant systems for companies that develop and operate power plants. This division is launching a strategic initiative to transform how large-scale energy projects are delivered. This role will focus on exploring, evaluating, and deploying AI-enabled tools that enhance project management workflows across the organization. Partnering closely with senior leadership, you’ll identify high-impact use cases, implement innovative solutions, and modernize how their PM teams operate. This is a high-visibility role with the ability to shape the future of project delivery.

Requirements:
• 10+ years of Project or Program Management Experience – Proven ability to manage complex projects end-to-end, with strong command of scheduling, risk, scope, and cross-functional execution in large-scale environments

• AI & Digital Tool Selection Experience – Hands-on experience evaluating, piloting, and implementing AI-enabled tools or workflow automation to improve project delivery and operational efficiency

• Tool Implementation & Integration Skills – Track record of successfully configuring, deploying, and integrating digital tools into existing PM processes, translating capabilities into real-world results

• Change Management & Adoption Leadership Experience – Experience driving organizational change, influencing stakeholders, training users, and ensuring successful adoption of new tools and processes across teams

Nice to have:
• Utility, power generation, or oil & gas industry experience

Responsibilities:
• Lead the exploration, evaluation, and deployment of AI-enabled tools to enhance project management workflows across large-scale energy projects
• Identify high-impact use cases for AI and digital tools, and design solutions that improve efficiency, reporting, and decision-making for PM teams
• Configure, integrate, and implement digital platforms, ensuring seamless adoption into existing project management processes
• Partner closely with senior leadership to drive organizational change, train users, and embed new processes across the PM organization
• Act as a high-visibility PMO innovator, shaping the future of project delivery within GE Vernova’s Gas/Power division.
• Provide strategic guidance and hands-on support to ensure AI initiatives deliver measurable operational impact.
