Job Description:
This is a high-impact Business Analyst role supporting enterprise platform integrations and data-driven initiatives within a large, stable organization undergoing digital transformation. You’ll work hands-on with SQL, APIs, and SSO, partnering closely with engineering teams to translate business needs into technical solutions and drive system improvements end-to-end. Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Analyst supporting enterprise platforms, working closely with engineering teams to gather requirements, document workflows, and drive delivery of system enhancements and integrations
• Strong SQL skills with hands-on experience querying large datasets, analyzing data for business insights, troubleshooting issues, and validating system outputs across multiple platforms
• Hands-on experience implementing and supporting SSO and authentication frameworks, including working with identity management, user access controls, and security protocols across enterprise applications
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions, including writing detailed functional specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria while partnering with developers through the full SDLC
• Strong communication skills, effectively working with both technical teams and business stakeholders to explain requirements, provide updates, and align on solutions across cross-functional environments
Nice to have:
• Experience in a healthcare insurance environment as a Business Analyst
• Experience working with APIs and system integrations, supporting testing, and collaborating with developers to ensure seamless connectivity between systems
Responsibilities:
• Partner with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather, analyze, and document requirements for platform enhancements, integrations, and system improvements
• Write detailed functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria, ensuring clear translation of business needs into technical deliverables for engineering teams
• Utilize SQL to analyze data, validate system outputs, troubleshoot issues, and support decision-making across multiple enterprise platforms
• Support and coordinate API and system integration efforts, including defining data mappings, documenting workflows, and assisting with testing and validation of integrations
• Lead and support SSO and authentication initiatives, including gathering requirements, documenting user access flows, and working with engineering teams to implement secure identity and access management solutions
• Collaborate closely with developers, QA, and product teams throughout the SDLC, participating in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Monitor system performance and assist in identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving platform-related issues in production environments
• Communicate project status, risks, and technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment across cross-functional teams
• Assist in continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to optimize workflows, automate processes, and enhance overall platform performance
