Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst in a client-facing or stakeholder-heavy environment, with a proven ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Hands-on experience managing requirements and backlogs using JIRA in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Experience working across business systems and data environments, including Salesforce and Snowflake, with strong SQL skills for reporting and troubleshooting
• Exposure to system integrations and APIs (MuleSoft preferred) and familiarity with AWS cloud environments, including how applications and data flow across platforms
• Experience working cross-functionally with Development and QA teams, including supporting testing efforts and validating system functionality
• Strong communication skills with the ability to confidently present and demo solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Nice to have:
• Previous BA experience within the Life, Absence, or Disability Group Insurance domain, with a clear understanding of related business processes and systems

Responsibilities:
• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, gathering, analyzing, and translating business requirements into functional and technical specifications
• Manage and prioritize product backlogs in JIRA, ensuring alignment with business goals and Agile delivery timelines
• Partner closely with Development, QA, and Product teams to support full lifecycle delivery—from requirements through testing, deployment, and demos
• Design and support integrations across enterprise platforms leveraging Salesforce, MuleSoft, AWS, and Snowflake, ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability
• Write and execute SQL queries for data validation, troubleshooting, and analysis across large datasets
• Lead and participate in Agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, retrospectives) within a Scrum-based environment
• Facilitate demos and walkthroughs of new features and enhancements to both internal teams and external stakeholders
• Troubleshoot system issues, monitor performance, and support continuous improvement of platform capabilities
• Ensure solutions align with security, scalability, and data governance standards
• Collaborate cross-functionally to communicate project status, risks, and technical recommendations
