Senior SAP PPDS Implementation Consultant

Job Description:
You will serve as the lead Digital Technology representative supporting a large-scale SAP APO PPDS deployment and manufacturing transformation initiative across global planning operations. The environment includes complex integrations into MES systems, Time Charging platforms, CMMS solutions, SAP ECC/S4 environments, and additional manufacturing systems supporting enterprise-wide production planning and scheduling operations. This is a highly visible, greenfield implementation initiative requiring senior-level SAP PPDS experience and a proven track record leading business process alignment, configuration, testing, training, change management, and go-live support activities across multiple manufacturing sites. Requirements:
• 7+ years of true hands-on SAP APO PPDS experience within large manufacturing or supply chain environments, configuring, implementing, testing, and supporting PPDS solutions
• Previous SAP APO PPDS implementation experience building/configuring environments from scratch, not just support or project coordination
• Experience and ability to use SAP PPDS to optimize and manage factory production scheduling in complex manufacturing environments
• Experience integrating SAP APO PPDS into MES systems, SAP ECC/S4, SAP IBP, and other manufacturing/factory-floor applications
• Previous working experience supporting manufacturing operations and production planning within aerospace, defense, automotive, or other complex industrial manufacturing environments

Nice to have:
• SAP APO, SAP PP/PPDS, SAP IBP, or SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing certifications

Responsibilities:
• Lead SAP APO PPDS implementation activities including configuration, business blueprinting, testing, deployment, hypercare, and go-live support
• Partner directly with manufacturing, supply chain, operations, and IT leadership teams to gather requirements, drive change management, and support planning initiatives
• Support integrations between SAP APO PPDS and factory floor systems including MES, Time Charging, CMMS, APO/IBP, ECC/S4, and additional operational tools
• Assist with production planning optimization, finite scheduling improvements, capacity utilization enhancements, and manufacturing process alignment
• Lead data testing, data cleansing, defect management, enhancement tracking, and user feedback activities across manufacturing sites
• Support plant go-live activities, user training sessions, leadership communications, and post-go-live Hypercare support activities
• Provide documentation, process improvements, and operational recommendations throughout the project lifecycle
