Job Description:
You will support a large-scale SAP Alignment initiative focused on transitioning from a legacy ERP platform into SAP ECC while helping implement and optimize SAP APO functionality across manufacturing and supply chain operations. The role will work closely with enterprise planning, manufacturing, operations, and IT leadership teams to align business processes, integrations, and supply chain planning capabilities throughout the transformation lifecycle. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior SAP supply chain consultant looking to support a global ERP modernization effort with long-term visibility and impact.
Requirements:
• 7+ years of true hands-on SAP APO experience within large manufacturing or supply chain environments where they personally implemented, configured, tested, and supported SAP APO solutions
• Previous experience supporting SAP APO implementations during ERP modernization or migration initiatives where companies were moving from legacy ERP systems into SAP ECC or enterprise SAP environments
• Experience supporting supply chain planning, production planning, inventory management, manufacturing operations, and enterprise planning processes within complex manufacturing organizations
• Experience working with SAP ECC integrations and helping align SAP APO with manufacturing systems, operational workflows, and broader enterprise planning environments
• Strong communication skills with ability to work directly with manufacturing, operations, supply chain, business leadership, and technical IT teams throughout large enterprise transformation initiatives
Nice to have:
• Aerospace, defense, automotive, or industrial manufacturing professional work experience
Responsibilities:
• Support SAP APO implementation and alignment activities tied to enterprise ERP modernization initiatives
• Assist with migration and alignment efforts from legacy ERP systems into SAP ECC
• Partner with supply chain, manufacturing, operations, and IT teams to gather requirements and optimize planning processes
• Support supply chain planning, production scheduling, and operational integration initiatives
• Participate in system testing, integration validation, defect resolution, and go-live planning activities
• Help align enterprise manufacturing and supply chain processes across multiple business units and global locations
• Provide documentation, process recommendations, and operational support throughout the project lifecycle
