SAP Systems Analyst

Job Description:
A top aerospace company is looking for an experienced SAP ECC Analyst to join the team in support of a high-visibility SAP Clone and Cleanse initiative. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring accurate project costing, financial data migration, and integration across SAP Controlling, Project Systems, and Finance. You will work closely with finance, program management, and technical teams to troubleshoot system issues, validate financial data, and improve project accounting processes. Requirements:
-5+ years of SAP ECC functional experience supporting both Controlling (CO) and Project Systems (PS).
-Strong SAP CO/PS experience configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting cost centers, internal orders, WBS structures, project costing, and settlement processes.
-Experience supporting SAP system migrations, including cleansing, validating, and reconciling financial data across SAP environments.
-Strong understanding of SAP CO/PS integration with Financial Accounting (FI), including cost postings, allocations, and project accounting.
-Experience developing SAP functional specifications, resolving system defects, and supporting integration testing and UAT.

Nice to have:
-Experience supporting SAP CO/PS in aerospace and defense, government contracting, or complex project-based manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities:
-Support SAP ECC Controlling and Project Systems functionality throughout the Clone and Cleanse project lifecycle.
-Collaborate with finance, program management, data migration, and technical teams to ensure alignment of CO/PS processes.
-Assist with mapping, cleansing, validating, and reconciling project-related financial and controlling data.
-Analyze and support cost center accounting, internal orders, WBS elements, project costing, and settlement configurations.
-Validate integration points between SAP CO/PS, Finance (FI), and related ERP processes.
-Develop functional specifications for reports, interfaces, enhancements, conversions, and workflows.
-Investigate and resolve functional incidents and defects identified during testing.
-Support unit testing, integration testing, UAT, and system readiness activities.
-Document functional designs, configurations, data mapping requirements, and process flows.
-Ensure solutions support project financial reporting, program management, and applicable government reporting requirements.
