Sr. PowerBI Analyst

Job Description:
Our client has implemented their first-ever CRM to streamline sales tracking and provide a clear, accurate forecast of their pipeline as they gear up for a record year. With their new CRM, they need a Sr. PowerBI Analyst with strong experience in data visualization and stakeholder engagement to transform raw data from their Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM into clear, compelling, and actionable dashboards using Power BI. These dashboards will be used by leaders across the organization to drive decision making across the organization. This is an exciting opportunity to be in a high-visibility position and directly impact the company’s growth!

Requirements:
• 6+ years of experience working with Power BI, including dashboard development, DAX, and data modeling.
• Experience pulling and joining data from multiple sources, particularly Azure Data Lake and Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM.
• Strong understanding of data visualization principles and storytelling with data.
• Strong skills in SQL and Power BI data modeling.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users in a clear and concise way.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on clarity, usability, and performance of reports.

Nice to have:
• Manufacturing Industry experience.
• Experience supporting Mergers and Acquisitions initiatives.

Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and define KPIs.
• Extract and transform data from EDWs (via Azure Data Lake or similar platforms) and Microsoft Dynamics 365 into usable datasets.
• Design, build, and maintain high-impact Power BI dashboards and reports that convey insights clearly to a wide audience, including non-technical users.
• Ensure visualizations adhere to best practices in usability, accessibility, and performance.
• Write complex DAX formulas and use Power Query (M) to shape and clean data as needed.
• Proactively recommend new visualizations, metrics, or improvements based on business goals and user feedback.
• Document dashboard logic, data sources, and reporting processes to support transparency.
