Senior SAP Data Transformation Specialist

Job Description:

They are seeking a SAP Data Transformation Specialist to play a critical role in building and maintaining the data pipelines that power enterprise-wide planning and forecasting. You’ll work with a highly skilled team to extract, transform, and deliver key SAP planning data into Kinaxis. Requirements:
-5+ years of hands-on experience working with SAP backend data tables, with deep knowledge of core data structures such as MARCX, sales orders, and purchasing information records.
-Strong ETL experience using Talend or Informatica to extract and clean data and input into a new 3rd party platform.
-Fundamental knowledge of Kinaxis RapidResponse, including how it ingests and utilizes planning/forecasting data from SAP or other ERP systems.
-Extensive SAP planning and forecasting experience, with the ability to locate, extract, and interpret relevant information data from SAP to integrate into external platforms.

-Kinaxis development experience.

Responsibilities:
-Extract, analyze, and transform planning and forecasting data from SAP backend tables (e.g., MARC, VBAP, EINE) for integration into Kinaxis RapidResponse, working with Kinaxis development team.
-Develop and maintain ETL processes using Talend to ensure accurate and efficient data movement between SAP and Kinaxis.
-Troubleshoot and resolve data flow or transformation issues, collaborating closely with SAP, Kinaxis, and ETL development teams across functional teams.
-Support the Kinaxis go-live and post-deployment phases, including break/fix tasks, enhancement requests, and production monitoring.
-Prepare and transport SAP data objects as needed, ensuring data consistency, integrity, and readiness for eventual migration into the S/4HANA environment.
