GE Aerospace is looking for an App Migration Program Manager to join their Digital Separation Management Office (SMO) and serve as the central driver/ orchestrator to the MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) division, to accelerate and successfully lead the migration of ~84 applications over the next 6-months. This person will leverage the established SMO application migration process, while adapting to the unique nuances of the MRO’s factory-based applications, which differ from enterprise apps in terms of architecture, ownership, and network configurations. The ideal candidate has a champion, “find-a-way” attitude and builds trust and credibility by delivering results rather than surfacing problems, ultimately ensuring the MRO team achieves migration milestones on time and with minimal disruption.
Requirements:
• 8+ years of demonstrated expertise leading large-scale IT program/ project management efforts (75–100 apps) with aggressive timelines, ideally with GE or similar prior setting.
• Strong background in application migration, infrastructure, or factory IT environments; and the technical literacy to engage with SMEs on networking, authentication, and infrastructure topics.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional migrations involving legacy systems and limited documentation, ensuring structure and on-time delivery.
• Proficiency in project tracking and risk management tools (e.g., Smartsheet) to ensure fast, controlled execution of complex migration initiatives.
• Ability to accelerate migration timelines by managing risk, maintaining transparency, and driving accountability across teams.

• Lead the end-to-end migration of ~84 MRO applications within a 6-month timeline, ensuring delivery quality, compliance, and operational continuity.
• Apply the established SMO migration framework while adapting to the unique technical and operational nuances of MRO environments and factory sites.
• Identify and mitigate risks impacting schedule, technical integrity, or user adoption, proactively driving resolution across teams.
• Maintain clear visibility of migration progress, dependencies, and milestones through Smartsheet or similar tools, providing transparent reporting to leadership.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cybersecurity, and network teams to troubleshoot site-specific issues and validate successful cutovers.
• Establish structure, accountability, and urgency across cross-functional teams to ensure commitments are met and timelines are maintained.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and foster a solution-oriented culture that prioritizes progress, ownership, and results.
