Job Description:
One of our top clients in the insurance space is looking for a strong Technical Business Analyst who will be playing a key role in driving API integrations for all external clients and customers leveraging Premier Life, Absence, and Disability Solutions, during the benefit enrollment process. This is a high-impact position at the intersection of technology and customer experience, offering the chance to influence scalable integration strategies in a rapidly evolving digital environment.
Requirements:
-5+ years of Technical Business Analyst experience, including client-facing requirement gathering specifically within the insurance industry around Premier Life, Absence and Disability Solutions.
-Ability to translate complex leave workflows into technical requirements and API integrations that support scalability across multiple client environments within HCM platforms.
-API integration and data management expertise, including REST/SOAP, XML/JSON, and data mapping for scalable client environments.
-Proficient in SQL querying and troubleshooting, with the ability to validate data flows and support production issues independently.
-Hands-on documentation and integration experience with Salesforce, MuleSoft, and Single Sign-On (SSO) in designing, configuring, and supporting enterprise integrations.
Nice to have:
-Experience in HR data, benefits, and leave.
-Experience with Dynatrace for log tracking.
-B.S. degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field
Responsibilities:
-Serve as a technical analyst driving integration of APIs with client platforms.
-Lead daily standups, manage escalations, and support client questions/issues.
-Gather, analyze, and document business/technical requirements (use cases, functional specs, process flows).
-Translate client requirements into technical deliverables for developers.
-Design, configure, test, and maintain platform applications and integrations.
-Support production validation with elevated access; resolve defects and provide testing coverage.
-Manage partner integrations, SSO (EOI SSO, Portal SSO, LOA API), and data flows across platforms.
-Collaborate cross-functionally to communicate technical proposals and project statuses.
-Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize capacity.
-Work with Salesforce and MuleSoft to manage and transmit client data.
-Run scrums, drive process improvements, and scale integration strategies across 115+ client implementations.
