Lead Software Engineer

Job Description:

Requirements:
10+ years’ experience developing in Java, Springboot & JavaScript

Experience maintaining AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, IAM, Transfer Family, CloudWatch)

5+ years Fintech industry experience

SOC Compliance Experience- data integrity is key!

Must have a collaborative approach and aptitude to manage/lead third party development partners (20% of your time will be allocated to this aspect of the job)

Keen ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders (soft skills are imperative)

Must be comfortable operating within a lean, fast-paced, “start-up” like environment

Nice to have:
Experience in a consulting or start-up environment

Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (tools: Git, Gradle build tools, Jenkins, Docker or Kubernetes)

Experience with Vue.js or desire to learn

Candidates local to or near Jacksonville, FL are highly preferred (hybrid)

Responsibilities:
Work with third party development partners to architect and develop backend services using Java and Springboot creating customized/scalable solutions for clients.

Collaborate on frontend integration using Vue.js

Design and maintain AWS Infrastructure

Build and manage CI/CD (continuous integration/continuous deployment) pipelines for automated deployment & testing

Partner and effectively communicate with product and operations teams to align technical solutions with business goals

Establish engineering best practices and mentor/collaborate with internal team-members and consultants
