Digital Technology Site Leader

ERLANGER KY   Computer Software Posted: 22 hours ago

Job Description:
Our customer is hiring a Digital Technology Site Leader (DTSL) to support two high-impact manufacturing sites in Erlanger, KY and West Chester, OH. One DTSL currently covers both locations, and they need a second strong leader to split coverage and bring stronger structure, prioritization, and project discipline to site IT. This is a hands-on, plant-embedded infrastructure leadership role — not a pure people manager. They want a technically credible do-er who has grown up through site IT, can step in when needed, and owns site-level IT performance and small-to-mid infrastructure initiatives (including budget accountability). You will stabilize production-critical systems, operate comfortably from shop floor to executive level, and bring a 1–3 year strategic lens to how technology supports manufacturing and the business. There are no direct reports — this role leads through influence, contractor coordination, and strong cross-functional partnership.

Requirements:
• 6+ years in IT roles with at least 3 years leading Manufacturing IT or owning site-level IT operations within a plant environment.
• Strong background supporting and stabilizing manufacturing site infrastructure (networking, PCs, wireless, RF scanners, printers, A/V, telecom) in a 24×7 production environment.
• Demonstrated ownership of small-to-mid IT initiatives within a plant environment, including planning, execution, budget tracking, contractor/vendor coordination, and delivery.
• Ability to build and execute a 1–3 year site IT roadmap aligned to manufacturing priorities.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional background.

Nice to have:
• Experience supporting ERP or MES environments (not owning apps, but coordinating/escalating effectively).
• Lean / Six Sigma exposure.

Responsibilities:
• Serve as Site IT Leader across two manufacturing facilities (Erlanger & West Chester), splitting time between locations (~45 minutes apart).
• Own performance, availability, and stability of production-critical IT infrastructure in a 24×7 manufacturing environment.
• Lead and execute small-to-mid site IT initiatives, including planning, prioritization, budget tracking, vendor coordination, and delivery.
• Build and drive a 1–3 year site IT roadmap aligned to manufacturing and business objectives.
• Coordinate and escalate application issues with central digital product teams (ERP, MES, analytics).
• Respond to production-impacting incidents and cybersecurity threats while maintaining operational continuity.
• Partner with union-represented employees, contractors, plant leadership, and internal Digital teams to resolve issues efficiently and strengthen site IT execution.
