QA (Manual)

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to support a critical enterprise initiative, which is a human capital management platform implementation (Workday). The QA will be responsible for hands-on QA functional testing for the HCM project while also providing test management & coordination support to the line of business. The ideal candidate will bring strong QA fundamentals, familiarity with Workday, and a solid understanding of data migration and data validation concepts. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to work cross-functionally with line-of-business teams, and comfort operating in Agile environment. Requirements:
• 4–5 years of manual QA experience – Performing end to end functional testing in enterprise IT environments
• QC ALM experience – Developing & executing test strategies, test plans, test cases, and tracking defects within this tool
• Experience with data migration, data validation, or data quality testing – Exposure to ELT testing and/or executing SQL queries for validation
• Strong test management & test coordination abilities – Able to review business requirements, use cases, track defects, and coordinate testing efforts for another team doing the hands-on testing
• Experience testing in an Agile/Scrum delivery environment

Nice to have:
• Workday Product Knowledge – understand its capabilities and functionalities
• Finance Industry Experience (or other regulated industries such as healthcare, insurance, etc.)

Responsibilities:
• Perform end-to-end manual QA functional testing
• Review requirements and develop, execute, and maintain test cases and test plans in QC ALM
• Execute tests, log and track defects, and support defect resolution
• Support data center and data migration initiatives through data validation and reconciliation activities
• Execute basic SQL queries or ELT-related validations as needed
• Coordinate and oversee line-of-business testing efforts, ensuring proper documentation and test evidence
• Track testing progress, risks, and defects and communicate status to stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
