Requirements:
• 5+ years of hands-on technician experience in electrical wiring, mechanical assembly, or hardware testing
• Strong working knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and connectors
• Ability to read and apply electrical schematics and diagrams confidently
• Comfortable operating test GUIs and basic automation tools — no heavy software background needed
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering field — or equivalent hands-on experience
Nice to have:
• Experience with HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) platforms
• Familiarity with SpeedCode, dSPACE, or Vector systems
• MATLAB / Simulink knowledge is a plus
• Previous experience in system-level simulator testing
Responsibilities:
• Assemble mechanical systems, mount PCBs, and perform wiring for simulator drawers and side panels
• Interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate system builds
• Perform basic mechanical work, including cutouts and mountings for hardware and plexiglass panels
• Operate GUI-based testing software to run automated tests and deliver accurate reports
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and system-level issues
• Collaborate closely with engineering and cross-functional teams to improve simulator methodologies and capabilities
• Maintain lab equipment, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with safety standards
