Job Description:
We’re partnering with a leading organization to bring on a Senior ServiceNow ITAM Consultant who will play a critical role in transforming how IT assets are managed, tracked, and optimized across the enterprise. This is a unique opportunity to step into a highly visible, high-impact role where you’ll own and evolve a mature ServiceNow ITAM and SAM Pro environment driving real improvements in cost efficiency, compliance, and operational excellence. In this role, you won’t just be maintaining systems—you’ll be shaping strategy, influencing stakeholders, and delivering meaningful business outcomes. You’ll work cross-functionally with IT, security, and procurement teams to enhance asset visibility, reduce risk, and enable smarter decision-making through accurate, real-time data.

Requirements:
• ServiceNow ITAM/SAM Functional Expertise – Ability to act as an SME/functional owner leading requirements gathering, stakeholder workshops, and solution design aligned to business needs
• ServiceNow ITAM/SAM Technical (Engineering) Expertise – Deep experience configuring, administering, and enhancing ServiceNow IT Asset Management (ITAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) modules in complex, enterprise environments
• Data, Reporting & Stakeholder Engagement – Ability to ensure data accuracy, build meaningful reporting, and effectively communicate insights while driving adoption across IT and business teams
• Client-Facing/Consulting Experience – Prior experience in a consulting or client-facing role, with the ability to engage stakeholders, provide recommendations, and deliver solutions in dynamic environments.
• Holds at least one of the following certifications – ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA); ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – ITAM / SAM; ITIL Foundation (or higher)

Nice to have:
• Experience in Government or Regulated Environments
• ServiceNow SAM Pro Expertise
• CMDB (Configuration Management Database) Experience – CMDB design, population, or governance, with an understanding of configuration items (CIs), data relationships, and maintaining a reliable source of truth for IT assets
• ServiceNow ITOM Experience – Experience with IT Operations Management (ITOM) tools, particularly Discovery, to support automated asset identification, data accuracy, and integration with ITAM processes.

Responsibilities:
• Serve as the SME and functional owner for ServiceNow ITAM, leading design, configuration, and ongoing enhancements
• Configure and manage ITAM and SAM Pro modules, ensuring accurate asset tracking, license compliance, and optimized software usage.
• Provide day-to-day support and maintenance of the ServiceNow ITSM/ITAM platform, including troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
• Drive software asset management maturity, improving processes, reporting, and audit readiness.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity, developing dashboards and reports to support visibility and decision-making.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization, reducing waste and improving asset utilization.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (IT, security, procurement) to align processes and drive adoption of ITAM best practices.
• Support security and compliance efforts by ensuring assets are properly tracked, managed, and governed.
• Lead stakeholder engagement, workshops, and training to promote ITAM processes and tools.
