SAP Quality Management Consultant

Job Description:
You’ll play a key role in a large-scale Quality Transformation program, helping modernize SAP QM processes that support complex manufacturing operations. Working closely with business leaders and development teams, you’ll translate quality requirements into functional solutions, support testing efforts, and drive adoption of new tools and processes. This is an ideal opportunity for a functional SAP QM professional who enjoys solving business challenges, influencing stakeholders, and working independently on high-impact initiatives.

Requirements:
• 4+ years of hands-on SAP Quality Management (QM) experience within SAP ECC environments, including quality notifications, inspections, defect tracking, corrective actions, and quality-related business processes.
• Experience working directly with business stakeholders, understand operational challenges, document requirements, and provide detailed functional guidance to development teams.
• Experience supporting Quality Notification processes and understanding of how quality notifications function within SAP QM, including catalogs, codes, tables, workflows, and defect management processes.
• Experience supporting, implementing, configuring, or enhancing Fiori applications, tiles, or business processes. Does not need to be specific to Quality Management.
• Experience supporting unit testing, support functional testing activities, validate business requirements, and assist with successful deployment of new functionality.

Nice to have:
• Aerospace, Defense, or highly regulated manufacturing experience, supporting quality processes within complex manufacturing environments – Highly preferred
• Prior experience within an S4 environment within Quality Management.
• Experience supporting initiatives involving Microsoft AI technologies, Copilot, or automation efforts is a plus as future phases of the project may incorporate AI capabilities.

Responsibilities:
• Serve as the liaison between business stakeholders and development teams, gathering requirements, document business needs, and create functional specifications that enable developers to build solutions aligned with operational goals.
• Support the Quality Transformation initiative, partnering with quality and manufacturing teams to modernize and improve SAP QM processes throughout the organization.
• Analyze and document quality-related business processes to evaluate current workflows, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend scalable solutions within SAP QM.
• Support SAP QM functionality and assist with quality notifications, inspections, catalogs, codes, tables, and other quality management processes within SAP ECC.
• Support testing and deployment activities, performing unit testing, validate requirements, coordinate with business users during testing, and assist with implementation efforts.
• Develop process documentation and training materials to support user adoption of new tools and processes.
• Manage assigned workstreams while collaborating with project teams across Quality, Manufacturing, DT, and IT organizations.
