Senior Revenue Cycle Optimization Analyst

Job Description:
The Senior Revenue Cycle Optimization Analyst serves as a senior individual contributor on the internal revenue cycle consulting team. You will be tasked with identifying inefficiencies and driving measurable improvement across the revenue cycle continuum. To succeed in this role, you can independently perform root cause analysis, confidently deliver findings to key stakeholders, and have strong operational knowledge of Epic and PowerBI. This position is ideal for someone at ease in front of executive leadership with the ability to think on their feet who can develop key recommendations that directly impact the business and drive optimization priorities.

Requirements:
• 8+ years of experience in revenue cycle within a hospital system or a vendor supporting hospitals
• Demonstrated success leading a workflow or process improvement initiative that drove measurable change against revenue leakage
• Strong operational knowledge with Epic and its reporting capabilities within a healthcare environment
• Working knowledge of Power BI and strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong executive presence, with the ability to present and defend findings live in front of senior leadership

Nice to have:
• Prior Management-level experience in a hospital revenue cycle function
• Familiarity with automation or AI tools applied to revenue cycle operations

Responsibilities:
• Independently perform root cause analysis on revenue cycle data to proactively identify internal inefficiencies and opportunities
• Own a specific geographic region of the hospital, and serve as the primary point person for executive-level meetings and projects tied to that region
• Leverage Epic and Power BI to identify actionable revenue opportunities and translate them into clear, presentable findings
• Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations, providing solution-oriented recommendations even under pushback
• Support evaluation of automation and AI vendor solutions for revenue cycle applications
• Partner across Revenue Cycle, Finance, and IT to align operational workflows with system capabilities
• Support development of data definitions, reporting standards, and performance metrics across the enterprise
